The Pediasuit is a treatment device that comes with a cap, vest, shorts, knee pads, arm attachments and shoe attachments. All the pieces have elastic bands joining them. When a child with CP puts the suit on it helps their sense of proprioception, or pressure through their joints, reduces their reflexes which are usually a problem and helps the muscles work together in synergy. This changes the messages going to the vestibular system where the information is processed from the muscles, tendons and joints.
